ABOUT ME
I have been a resident of Easthampton since 2007. During this time, I have served as an Easthampton City Councilor for three terms: twice as a City Councilor at Large, and this last term as the Precinct 5 Councilor. My children all grew up in Easthampton and attended our city schools. I am a local college professor and department chair at Westfield State University, where I teach Gerontology (the study of aging). I serve on the Board of Directors for Easthampton Neighbors, a non-profit that serves the needs of Easthampton residents over the age of 55. Finally, I am an avid gardener.
As a City Councilor, I have a history of supporting our most vulnerable groups: Easthampton's older population, our LGBTQ+ population, and our children. I believe in investing in the arts within Easthampton. I am a supporter of our Public Schools.
I believe in protecting the aquifer and our environment. CPA funds are a vital engine for providing essential recreation, affordable housing and historical renovation in Easthampton.
